“Meta-endorsement” for primary; voter info (Updated)
Arblogger is offering no endorsements for tomorrow’s primary (besides endorsing that you go vote), although some of the local millages don’t look objectionable: however, there will be this “meta-endorsement”, that is, that maybe a challenger or two could liven up the Ann Arbor City Council (and Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners…heck, any body with people running for it). Which one or ones you choose, is up to you.
Also, I see little special reason to choose Rebekah Warren, as per the information in my posts below… (Update: as of early on August 8, she’s still using a UM account for photo storage! see, e.g., the present front-page photo on her site, here–unless it gets changed. Some people don’t take a friendly hint…)
Enjoy voting tomorrow! Click to find your polling place (if you know your ward and precinct of Ann Arbor) here …and if you don’t know your ward or precinct, try the MI Secretary of State voter info page here! (Also, check the Washtenaw County elections page, as needed for issue information, etc.) People power!!!  Â

While arblogger.com is not making any endorsements of candidates, I would like to suggest that voters look past the the politics of this primary and vote for the candidate that will truly provide the leadership that Ann Arbor needs.
I strongly support:
Leigh Greden for State Representative
John Hiefjte for Mayor of Ann Arbor
Chris Easthope for City Council
Leah Gunn for County Commissioner
These people have provided Ann Arbor with clear and principled leadership. They have fought hard to defend issues that are important to us, they took political risks to fight for what they believe in and they have a prove record of bringing results to Ann Arbor.
Mayor Hieftje, Councilman Easthope, and Commissioner Gunn have served us well and deserve our continued support.
Councilman Greden has fought hard for Ann Arbor residents while on City Council, he deserves to be sent to Lansing…where he will represent us with dignity, honor, and integrity.
Please…remember to vote!
